Recruiting for College
04 Apr 2022

What does Recruiting for College look like for Quarterbacks coming up through the rank? Recruiting for college begins as early as a player can be identified locally and continues through the ranks.

Quarterbacks are in need of proper fundamental training and reps. Reps are important because as QBs are getting recruited younger and younger see Lane Kiffin offering an 8th grader the situation is becoming something that you have to be seen as early as possible.

Camps such as Elite 11 and Future 4 show the most elite talent for the position and what is to come from the position as young as Middle school.

For high school the goal for every athlete is to be a minimum 3 year starter to play D1 football. Scholarships are being handed out to the athletes that rise to the top fast. Being able to attend college football camps is another key way to be recruited as most college coaches would like to see a kid in person before they offer them a scholarship.

Do as much as you can to be seen and it will pay off. Social Media is a must as well through Twitter and Instagram a nice profile with your name and highlights can go along way for college coaches to find you.
